Summer vacation should or should not be only one month lone and the school year should last 11 months.
Summer vacation should NOT be changed to 1 month and the school year being 11 months. Kids should enjoy the time off and relax. Children are already in school for 10 months they should not make it more then that because kids will go crazy. Summer is supposed to be their time to rest and have fun after doing all the hard work. Summer vacation is about spending time in the sun or getting together with your friends or family to enjoy time together. 2 months is all ready not enough they should not change it to 1 month.

You make a very strong argument, Fraiba. Your comment about summer being a time to spend with family and friends rings true to me. I think you are only a kid once and you should be given a chance to play outside and have fun. Sadly, many children I've talked to over the years spend their summer indoors watching TV or playing on the computer. I believe summer should be a time to play and spend time with the people you care about.
