Driver’s License Debate

Should the driver’s license age limit change? Most governments have thought about this. Some people think it should stay the same. I think it should be raised to the age of 21. People who have their license at a young age could be dangerous, especially if they are drunk. This could cause many problems.
Also, the person might think crazy driving is ‘cool’. I don’t think so.
Once I was walking down the road. There was a car approaching, but I knew that the driver would slow down. Suddenly, it whizzed past me. In the window I saw a bunch of teens laughing. I almost died!
Finally, the person might hide a weapon and shoot people. A gun could easily fit in the cup holder or ashtray. That is why I think the license age should be 21.
18 years is too early for driving.

Hi andy

Great point but I dont think the liecense age should be changed from 16 to 21. Kids are responisble if they want to be and having a drivers liecence can prove how trust worthy they are to their parents. although accidents happen not every 16 year old shouold be punished. NICE story though

I kind of agree but to some people it would be unfair because some teens are responsible and wouldn't do that kind of thing. They should always have a responsible adult witrh them because you can't really be sure of what they do.

hi andy great point but i disagree.The license age should be from 16 to 21.Some kids are responsible and trust worthy .There parents also trust them.also accidents happen not every 16 year old should be punished.anyways nice story though.

I agree that some you should be older to drive because they might get drunk and they might crash.Maybe when some people are 23 or 20 you could learn to drive and they will crash into other people.Very interesting.

You are right andy. I totally agree with you because IK had an experience once just like your but a different transportation. When I was with my cousin riding his bike and I was in the back. Something suddenly hit me that was like a tricycle and in my language it's called pedicab and it has four wheels. My foot got caught in the wheel and then somebody tried to help me. I think that person that was riding that tricycle thing was under 21. So that's why I think that you should be under 21 to ride a car or any
kind transportation.
