What's Your Opinion?

To write an editorial select a topic you feel strongly about. You won't be able to write very well if you really don't care one way or another. Your editiorial can agree or disagree with an issue. It can be for or against a candidate or idea.
Your editorial can discuss a problem and offer solutions that might help solve the problem.

Select one of these topics for an editorial:

A. All students, beginning in fourth grade should or should not be required to take a foreign language every year until they graduate from high school.

B. Your school should or should not have a dress code that does not allow jeans, shorts, T-shirts, or sweatshirts at school.

C. All windows in classrooms should or should not be completely covered, because looking outside is a distraction to students.

D. Summer vacation should or should not be only one month long, and the school year should last 11 months.

E. The school cafeteria should or should not only offer vegetarian meals: no meat-only fruits, vegetables, and fish.

F. A person who has been convicted of a crime and spent two years in jail for robbery 20 years ago should or should not be elected mayor of your city.
