Crescent Beach
On September 24, 2007, my class went to Crescent Beach. We used a bus to get there. On the bus I listened to my Ipod. When we got there, a few people came to meet us there. They were naturalist. They talked about how boundary bay was a place where many birds came to rest during migration. After the discussion, we went down wooden stairs. Luckily, the stairs weren’t wet like last year. When everyone was there, they gave us containers to fill up with water and put different types of animals. I got crabs, jellyfish, hermit crabs, a clam, and other things. After a while me and my sister went further into the low tide zone. Did you know that if you shouted loud enogh you will here an echo. The further we went the more deeper the puddles were. After we had to go walk down the beach. At that time my socks and shoes were wet. It was very uncomfortable. On the way I picked up some litter. Most of the garbage was broken glass from beer bottles. When it was time to eat I accidentally dropped my lunch. Luckily my friends were kind enough to give some of their lunch. After awhile we amused ourselves by going on the nearby beach. Later on we went home on the bus.
